			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="line-height: 125%; margin: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height: 125%; font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt">After a yearlong wait, work has finally begun on the new Super Wal-Mart to be located off <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">East Second Street</st1:address></st1:street> on the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony. The delay was caused mostly by the massive, lengthy environmental clean up from the previous tenants, a radiator repair shop. 6,000 tons + of oil-contaminated soil was removed from the site. Once this superstore is complete Wal-Mart will be closing the Northtowne location and giving the employees there an option to transfer over. Even if all their current employees located at the Northtowne Wal-Mart transfer over to the new superstore, they will still be hiring something like 200 additional employees to handle the larger demands of the much lager store. </span></p>

Very few title companies are following in Northern Nevada Title Company’s footsteps in hiring 4 employees to handle the dramatic increase in paperwork. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt">As some of you may have heard Moana is next on the upgrade train.<span>  </span>RTC is moving forward with the plan to widen Moana from 4 to 6 lanes between <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">South Virginia Street</st1:address></st1:street>and U.S. 395. Other future major expansions include the intersections of Moana with <st1:place w:st="on">South Virginia</st1:place> and <st1:street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Kietzke Lane</st1:address></st1:street>. <o:p></o:p></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><o:p> </o:p></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><o:p><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><o:p></o:p></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt">Moana’s project is being largely funded through the motor vehicle fuel tax increase that was passed by voters in 2008. Some say they would like that money to be utilized for other concerns like the loss in the Police force and the Fire Department.</span></o:p></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt">Currently the project is only partially designed and RTC officials still don’t know how much commercial land will have to be bought by the government for this expansion.</span></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><br />
</span></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt">Some business might have to be relocated even though the project doesn’t touch the actual structure. There’s a possibility of relocating whole buildings because of the parking spaces that will be taken away for the project. <o:p></o:p></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><o:p> </o:p></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 13pt"><o:p><br />
